EUPOP2012 Affordable accommodation

ACCOMMODATION

Hotel prices in London are high, especially this summer. So if you are looking for affordable accommodation during your attendance at EUPOP2012, then you are recommended to book a room in the University of London halls of residence ASAP.

http://www.halls.london.ac.uk/visitor/garden/Default.aspx

EUPOP2012 recommends staying the University of London Garden Halls - particularly Canterbury Hall.

Centrally located with prices from £40 per night bed and breakfast, they present very good value for money - especially in central London this summer.

Located less than 5 minutes away from Kings Cross and Euston rail and underground stations,  the Garden Halls provide cheap, safe,  single accommodation in the heart of Bloomsbury with pubs, cafes, shops, supermarkets and a range of restaurants nearby. As you would expect, as university halls of residence the rooms are basic, but they have a shared kitchen, so you can prepare your own food if required. And of course, the more EUPOP2012 delegates who choose to stay at the Garden Halls, the more opportunities there will be for socialising, networking and nattering until the early hours!

The Garden Halls are a few minutes walk away from the British Library, the British Museum and the London Underground (tube) stations at Kings Cross and Russell Square and within walking distance of the John Prince’s Street site of the London College of Fashion - just off Oxford Street. The nearest London Underground (tube) station to the London College of Fashion is Oxford Circus and the Garden Halls are only two stops on the tube from Kings Cross on the Victoria Line.

Bookings for University of London halls of residence can be made by email or telephone, please see website for details:
